Pluto in Aquarius: The Great Unknown

Pluto in Aquarius will bring fated changes in the way people socialize, take accountability, deal with shame and go about the future.

The goal of this transit is to deepen the understanding of society, preferably through society. In group settings, individuals that are left with no choice but to interact with each other eventually realize that they are unique. No matter how much self-awareness they lack, being part of a group will inevitably lead anyone to see that each person is unique. Even when sharing values, ideas and beliefs, there's always a limit to common grounds.

Although this process may seem theoretically easy, those born with Pluto in Aquarius will have a rare, uncommon and complex Plutonian experience. Pluto is not at all comfortable in the sign of Aquarius, which will make the natural transformation process of this planet considerably heavier. Most of the suffering of this generation will come from forcing or seeking self-awareness and introspection from society instead of doing so in a more independent way.

Pluto is mostly concerned with introspection done individually, which makes gaining self-awareness in a group context much more difficult. These desires could severely block creativity and make those with this placement feel embarrassed and ashamed of themselves, as social conditioning has a strict set of social codes regarding self-expression and personality, which favor expectations above purpose.

Expectations often lead to high anxiety, individually and collectively, about what the future holds for our individual path. This will be one of the greatest challenges for everyone with Pluto in Aquarius. Accepting that it is impossible to predict the future is not only difficult but incredibly unsettling. The only way to improve it is by focusing on the present, or by preparing beforehand. No matter how hard humanity tries, evolution is always restricted and paced by transformation. We can only go so far until it's time to change, so that the evolution process itself is improved.

In fact, the pursuit of expectations rarely leads anywhere. Social conditioning is one of the elements that affects self-awareness the most, blocking emotional availability and the ability to take accountability for what we do and our path. The reason why Aquarius struggles so much to take accountability for its actions and journey is because Uranus represents a group rather than a single individual, which leads to auto-conditioning - normalizing one's own behaviors and beliefs, thinking of one's actions and choices as valid because it represents what everyone does or would do. Choosing to meet expectations equals not taking accountability for one's path. This mindset is barely connected to Pluto's.

No matter how hard humanity tries, evolution is always restricted and paced by transformation. We can only go so far until it's time to change, so that the evolution process itself is improved.

Pluto in Aquarius will encourage introspection regarding technology and its use in creative processes. Those born during the next 20 years will live a transformation in the way technology is used to aid in creativity and progress. The right use of tools such as artificial intelligence will be questioned, as a global moral code is built around the new concept.

This is an overall difficult transit due to being unaligned with the nature of Pluto, that has the potential to change the mechanics and gears of society from within. Social progress could be paramount if previous generations choose to put others first by making decisions that are helpful for all humans.
